Dissemination Activities

Which activities must be held?

When project management is considered process-based, dissemination activities related to the results of Erasmus + projects (KA101, KA102, etc.) also appear to be meticulously addressed in institutional, local and regional terms. Dissemination activities can be considered as the works and operations done before, during and after the project.

Generally, dissemination activities can be carried out using the following tools or persons:

• In a project for a school, students and / or teachers can contribute to dissemination activities.

• Written, printed images.

• Local media.

• Local people living in that area.

• Social media environments like websites, Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram and so on.

• EU Project Results Dissemination Platform

• Seminars, conferences

Sharing the positive or negative results of the project has an important role in the development of the corporate culture. For example, the gains of an Erasmus + KA102 Mobility for Vocational Education Project prepared by a vocational school will make students and teachers working at that school willing to make new projects. It would also be beneficial for the same school to share the achievements with other schools in the region in terms of carrying out a project work in those schools. The results may be useful in solving a problem in whole or in part, and will be effective in the formation of new education policies on a macro scale.

Recently, social media is a beneficial instrument for sharing, dissemination and learning etc.

The target audience to be affected by the project results and the size of this target audience are also very important. For example, in an Erasmus + KA101 project, which aims to ensure the personal and professional development of teachers, it is of great benefit to explain the experiences and experiences gained to other teachers in that environment, to teach them if necessary and to achieve the objectives of the projects. Or, for example, sharing the positive results of a project for disabled people with other people with disabilities, spreading them locally and regionally, improving the quality of life of people with disabilities and adapting them to social life can be beneficial.

The European Commission attaches great importance to disseminating the results of the projects for which it supports grants. From this point of view, the experts who will evaluate whether your project will receive support or not, want to see how the dissemination activities are done effectively, by means of which means, when or how often. Guides are published on the websites of the National Agencies to guide project owners, partners and participants. In addition, the European Commission has a related website, which is published at the results of the Erasmus + project, with the address https://ec.europa.eu/programmes/erasmus-plus/projects/.
