Education, which can be defined as developing desired behaviors from one’s life, has an important place in our lives. The educational process of the person is from birth and to death. Planned and orderly educational process, as well as all over the world and in Turkey begins in childhood and continues until the end of university classes.

Levels of education in Turkey:
Secondary education level
Higher education level
It is the education given to the school to prepare the child for primary education. There is no obligation but pre-school education is encouraged by the state and related institutions.
Primary Education (Primary Schools)
Students who are 66 months or older will attend primary school. The age of starting education is 5 and a half. Parents can obtain a report from the doctor about whether the child is eligible to start school in order to be informed of any inconveniences.
Children who are eligible to start school can start their first year of primary school closest to their address automatically.
During the first 4 years, in primary schools (primary level), students are provided with a more lightweight curriculum. These students will begin to study English as of the second grade and compulsory Religious Culture and Ethics as of the fourth grade. They are also trained with a visual and auditory curriculum.
Secondary Education (Secondary Schools)
The second stage, namely secondary schools, allows students to have the right to free and change their decision-making processes in accordance with the understanding of civil society and democratic state as a more free individual. The aim of secondary schools is to provide training for the vocational or student skills. For this reason, elective courses are taught. Religious and Moral Values, Grammar, Foreign Language, Science, Arts, Sports and Social Sciences are available in the elective courses in secondary school.
Secondary Education (High School Education)
The transition to high school is determined by the central examination held at the end of the 8th grade, ie 4th grade. This exam consists of the courses in secondary school.

Open High Schools
Evening high schools can be considered as second education in universities. They are open high schools and opened for non-high school graduates to receive a secondary education diploma. After the second year of high school students in Anatolian high schools select their fields and start to see the courses in their field.
This system is also valid in high schools. After the first year, the student chooses his / her department. There is also a compulsory duty to work as an intern in 12th grade. The student learns about the business life by doing an internship and gets a salary as well as a course note about the internship from the workplace.
Higher Education (University Education)
They are generally divided into faculties and colleges. Faculties are usually four years. The colleges are generally aimed at vocational high school graduates and generally provide two-year education. Someone can pass at other universities in Turkey horizontally or vertically depending on the status of grade crossing as they wish.
In Turkey, there are three separate branches of education, including secondary education and open learning.
Primary education: Normal education
Secondary education: Evening or weekend education. In general, the level of education is lower.
Open education: There is no obligation to attend classes at the university. Only exams are allowed.
In addition, the person who has completed university education can take the exam and graduate education. A doctorate is a degree or step that is accessed through examinations and a scientific work after graduating from a faculty or college.
